Animoto

The first time I heard of animoto was in a Meg Ormiston workshop.  I thought this was so cool and what a great idea for kids.  I soon found out that some of our wonderful teachers here in Havana were using animoto.

Animoto provides an array of tools for creating videos in your classroom. For teachers and students a 30 second video or trailer is free.  If you want a longer clip you will have to pay for it.

Science and Math

The first website I want to highlight is

http://www.wolframalpha.com/

It is everything math and science.  It is free and you can ask any math/science question and it will show you the steps to solve it and why.  It will also give you the answer.

Welcome

Welcome to the Havana blog page.  This page will host valuable websites and information that will help with instruction and teaching.  I hope to post one or two websites a week with a description of the site.  Please feel free to add your own instructional websites and information.
